Madrid is a hundred years old. Yes it’s antique. And I’m proud to have been living in this city since 1986, when it was still coming out from obscurity. In our first year, we moved into a two door apartment they called `piso´. It was small but within our budget. Happy? Yes we were, to have a home we call our own. It was also fully equipped so we didn’t have to spend much on furniture.

One day, while I was cleaning the living room, I bumped into something that would change my whole perspective of life completely. I inadvertently dropped an ordinary picture on the wall. The glass covering broke so there was no other thing to do but to throw it away. While cleaning the broken pieces I observed that there was another painting hidden behind the first.
